CoolForm is a cryolipolysis system developed by LUVO Medical. It uses controlled cooling and vacuum applicators to target localized fat beneath the skin.
With multiple applicator sizes and the ability to treat more than one area simultaneously, CoolForm can be customized for different body shapes and treatment areas.
Fat cells are more sensitive to cold temperatures than surrounding tissues. During treatment, CoolForm cools the targeted fat layer to trigger a natural process that damages selected fat cells. Over the following weeks and months, the body gradually clears these cells, reducing the visible fat bulge.
The treatment is intended to reduce localized subcutaneous fat. It does not treat visceral fat located around the internal organs.
Your provider will assess the amount and distribution of fat before selecting the appropriate applicator. A protective membrane is applied, and the applicator uses suction to draw the targeted tissue into the cooling chamber.
You may initially feel strong cold, pulling or pressure. The area usually becomes numb as treatment continues, allowing most clients to relax during the session. Depending on the number and size of areas, an appointment may take approximately 60 minutes.
Unlike treatments that use heat or energy to reduce fat, CoolForm uses controlled cooling (cryolipolysis) to freeze and destroy fat cells. Compared to surgical liposuction, CoolForm offers no incisions, no anesthesia, no downtime, and a lower risk profile, though results are more gradual and modest. Compared to Emsculpt Neo, which builds muscle while reducing fat, CoolForm focuses exclusively on fat reduction and does not stimulate muscle tissue.
Results appear gradually as the body processes the treated fat cells. Some clients notice early changes within several weeks, with more visible improvement generally developing over two to three months.
The number of sessions required depends on the treatment area, amount of fat and desired degree of contouring. Additional sessions may be recommended after your results are assessed.
