Weekend Peel in West Vancouver

Weekend Peel Laser

Weekend Peel — treatment
Laser — in clinic

Weekend Peel is Skinfolio’s light laser-resurfacing treatment for dullness, rough texture, enlarged-looking pores and superficial sun damage. Controlled laser energy removes a precise layer of damaged surface cells while supporting skin renewal and collagen remodelling.

The result is a smoother, brighter and more refreshed-looking complexion with considerably less recovery than Skinfolio’s intensive Reface or Rebuild treatments.

What is the Weekend Peel?

Weekend Peel uses controlled laser energy to precisely exfoliate the outermost damaged skin cells. Unlike a chemical peel, which uses an acid solution, laser resurfacing allows the provider to control the treatment using device settings and technique.

As the treated surface renews, the skin may appear smoother, brighter and more refined. Depending on the exact settings, light dryness or flaking may occur.

Customized Surface Renewal

The treatment is adjusted according to skin condition, tone and desired recovery time. A lighter protocol may provide subtle refreshment, while stronger settings can create more visible redness, dryness or shedding.

Weekend Peel is intended for superficial concerns. Deeper scars, established wrinkles or significant pigmentation may require a more corrective treatment.

What to Expect During Treatment

Your appointment begins with cleansing, photography and an assessment of the treatment area. Laser-specific protective eyewear is provided before the handpiece is passed systematically across the skin.

Clients may experience warmth, mild heat or a prickling sensation. Numbing is not typically required. The complete appointment takes approximately 60 minutes, including preparation and finishing products.

Recovery and Results

The skin may appear flushed and feel warm or tight immediately afterward. Mild dryness, roughness or light flaking can develop during the following days.

Some clients notice improved radiance once the initial redness settles. Texture and tone may continue to improve over the following weeks as the skin renews. A customized series may be recommended for cumulative results.

Treatment FAQ

About Weekend Peel.

The Weekend Peel is a laser exfoliation treatment that uses gentle thermal energy to encourage collagen production and cellular turnover, leaving skin smoother, brighter, and more radiant without the downtime of traditional chemical peels.

Some clients experience little visible shedding, while others develop dryness or light flaking. The response depends on treatment settings and individual skin sensitivity.

Yes. The Weekend Peel is suitable for all skin types and tones.

Anyone seeking a brighter, smoother complexion with no downtime is a good candidate. It is ideal for those who want laser-level results but cannot afford visible recovery time.

Discontinue retinoids and exfoliating acids 3 to 5 days before treatment. Avoid excessive sun exposure and arrive with clean skin.

Weekend Peel uses laser energy for controlled surface renewal. Chemical peels use acidic solutions. Results and downtime depend more on treatment depth and intensity than whether the procedure uses laser or acid.
